Having traveled on two routes on The Yacht Week, I pride myself on picking out some sweet arm candy before my adventures begin. During the week of amazing sailing, scenery, people, and parties, guests are given colorful wristbands in order to get into the exclusive Yacht Week parties.

The Theory of Retail: Theory Outlet vs. Retail Stores

Wednesday, November 11, 2015

As a petite young professional, I absolutely LOVE Theory! Their clothes are one of the few brands that fit me like a glove. It's as if I was born to rock their clothes. However they also come at a pretty steep price. Those of you that shop this brand have probably noticed how a dress or simple blazer can cost well over $300 or $400. It's mind-blowing that even a skirt, something that covers half of me, can still run up to the same prices. Am I supposed to naked for the upper half because that's all my wallet will afford or what?

Delsey Chatelet Luggage Review

Tuesday, August 18, 2015

Awhile back I had been on the lookout for a new carry-on luggage as my old one started to wear down from weekly travel. I initially wanted something classic and timeless but sturdy. Beyond that it had to meet my thousands of other unlikely expectations such as stylish and functional.

J. Crew Retail Store vs. J. Crew Factory

Sunday, August 16, 2015

As much as I love shopping, I also love a great deal. I am also lucky enough to live near a couple of outlets and so I frequent them like the plague to score awesome discounts. Although outlet prices can be lower, you may not necessarily get as great of a deal as you thought every time you head off to the outlets. Over the years, people have gradually exposed more of the fashion industry's dirty secrets of outlet stores.

Fashion Cat: Michael Kors Jet Set Travel Tote Review

Wednesday, August 12, 2015

As a consultant, I am always on travel. Scratch that, I'm actually rarely at home. I see my apartment sometimes one weekend in a month and so I'm literally living out of a suitcase for sometimes weeks at a time. During my travel flurries, I've learned how to pack minimally and (hopefully) stylishly. One major must-have for my on-the-go lifestyle has always been a good, classic tote.

Fashion Cat: Michael Kors Fulton Moc Flats Review

Monday, July 6, 2015

About a month ago, my old pair of flats started getting old and battered up from constantly running in the rain and traveling through different terrain (I thank Portland rain and Hawaiian hikes) with them. I had been on the lookout for a pair of brown leather flats that were fashionable, work appropriate, and affordable as I go through flats rather quickly. I decided to upgrade a bit and try out the Michael Kors Fulton Moc leather flats in luggage and wanted to do a review of them after having worn them daily for about a month.

Classic Brown Summer Sandals

Friday, May 29, 2015

I have an absolute weakness for classic brown leather sandals and had been on the hunt for one ever since my last pair tore apart in Hawaii. The search hadn't been an easy one as I am extremely picky when it comes to shoes. Luckily I found one last weekend while we made a stopover at the Mulberry store and I wandered into a pair of their Lizzie flat sandals in Oak Vachetta.
