The Theory of Retail: Theory Outlet vs. Retail Stores

As a petite young professional, I absolutely LOVE Theory! Their clothes are one of the few brands that fit me like a glove. It's as if I was born to rock their clothes. However they also come at a pretty steep price. Those of you that shop this brand have probably noticed how a dress or simple blazer can cost well over $300 or $400. It's mind-blowing that even a skirt, something that covers half of me, can still run up to the same prices. Am I supposed to naked for the upper half because that's all my wallet will afford or what?

Alas I continue again with another office post! In fact this is my first time wearing this red dress I am sharing on the blog today and I paired it up the same way I styled my little black dress (post here). As previously mentioned, I wanted to keep it on the simple side this week so I tried to reuse jewelry and clothing as much as possible. How to Style a Classic Office Dress for Many Occasions

It has been about 1.5 years since I finished school and started my first real-world job. One of the toughest challenges for me along with a good number of people starting out is building up a professional wardrobe. If you have a typical office job where business casual dress or more is expected everyday, it's time to say good-bye to the good old college days of UGGs, Northface sweaters, crop tops, and short shorts (at least Monday through Fridays).
