The port area hosts a riverfront trolley that goes along the Columbia River towards the downtown area. There are also a few restaurants and lookout points where visitors can see huge shipping containers and boats. It's definitely the closest I have been to a shipping boat. Some things to check out in the area are the museums such as the Columbia River Maritime Museum, Oregon Film Museum, and Captain George Flavel House Museum.
